What is Meditation
Meditation is a practice that involves training the mind and focusing one’s attention to achieve a state of mental clarity, relaxation, and inner calm. It is often associated with various techniques and methods, such as mindfulness, breath awareness, or mantra repetition. Through consistent practice, meditation aims to cultivate a heightened state of awareness and presence, enabling individuals to observe their thoughts and emotions without judgment and find a sense of inner peace. Meditation has been utilized for centuries in different cultures and spiritual traditions as a means to reduce stress, enhance concentration, promote self-awareness, and foster overall well-being

1
Space
Find a quiet and comfortable space: Choose a peaceful environment where you can sit comfortably without distractions. Allow meditation music to flow or a guided meditation to play.
2
Be Still
Assume a relaxed posture: Sit in a position that is comfortable for you, whether it’s cross-legged on the floor, sitting on a cushion, or using a chair. Keep your back straight, but not rigid, and allow your body to relax.
3
Breathe
Focus on your breath: Bring your attention to your breath, noticing the sensation of the breath as it enters and leaves your body. You can choose to focus on the rising and falling of your abdomen or the feeling of the breath at the nostrils.

Meditation & Mantras
Allow thoughts to come and go: As thoughts, sensations, or emotions arise, acknowledge them without judgment and gently guide your attention back to your breath. Don’t try to forcefully suppress thoughts but let them pass by, maintaining your focus on the present moment.
Follow some mantras below if you do not have a mantra in mind to follow at the end of your meditation.
Mantras to Try

“I Am Present….”
“I am present and grateful” – this mantra can help you cultivate mindfulness and gratitude in your everyday life, and focus on the present moment instead of worrying about the past or future.
